Black Creek Youth Initiative delights in its contribution in providing opportunities for secondary and post-secondary students through a co-operative education program or instructional practicum student placements. Students bring their unique perspectives, skills, and experiences, which enhance and expand the agency’s capacity.

BCYI is committed to respectfully manage volunteers in a manner that reflects the organization as well as meet the needs of the student.

The Black Creek Community is a very diverse community and we welcome students from a wide range of ethnic and racial backgrounds to take advantage of the many opportunities available for those interested in acquiring hands-on knowledge and experience working young people.

We accept students from an assortment of colleges and university programs that have a specified interest in positive development and education of young people
